09/07/2010: Well #6 was recently tested positive for total coliforms, but not E. Coli. The facility is going to perform maintenance on the Well #6 starting tomorrow. After maintenance is finished, they will test well twice with the two tests 24 hours apart. Therefore, a repeat well sample is not being collected.
The well has not been used to supply water in that last two weeks due to a loss of capacity. It is believed that growth in iron bacteria is inhibiting the well.
